OMG!! So many albums came out that year.. Such a hard decision, But I'm leaning to Black Sabbath's debut..

Here is a video of the albums that came out...

Excuse me, but 1970 saw the release of Layla by Derek & The Dominos, which is the best album ever recorded with electric guitars. Number on on the list of "Perfect" Classic Rock albums according to Classic Rock Forever (dot com)

I’m sticking with Deep Purple ~ In Rock as my #1 pick.

but have others to add to the honorable mentions since my first post:

Sweet Baby James ~ James Taylor
American Woman ~ The Guess Who
Closer to Home ~ Grand Funk Railroad
James Gang ~ Rides Again

Let It Be-The Beatles

All Things Must Pass is also one hell of a collection of songs but from the moment I heard “I’ve Got A Feeling”, “Get Back”, and every other song, Let It Be has been a favorite of mine.
The documentary further cemented its place in my heart and with the amount of bootlegs and multiple copies and formats I have collected over the years, I feel that Let It Be is the greatest album released in the year 1970
