:grinthumb Apologese if anyone has talked about Bert Sommer before, but I believe that he was a unique talent, with an exceptional voice, who was sadly overshadowed by all of the other great bands/artists that the 60s gave us.

Nowadays he is most often seen on some of the Woodstock footage performing 'Jennifer',a beautiful love song. This is an excellent performance and eptiomises the man that he was, gentle, and with a true talent. He would'nt have fitted in to another era,the late 60s were made for him. And you would'nt miss him at a festival with that mass of hair that adorned his head.

I was pleased to learn that the excellent 'Road to Travel' was finally released on CD,and it's the album that includes 'Jennifer',along with some other stunning tracks. I just wish that they would release his other albums!.

I'm sorry guys not to have posted any vids/pics,as soon as I learn how I will :bonk:
