I am trying to find the name of a band, probably seventies, whose name was made up of three surnames, like Emerson Lake and Palmer or Ashton Gardner and Dyke, but obviously not them.

I have a feeling at least one name began with a D

I do recall a duo.... as you said it maybe began with 'D'..... David & David were actually brilliant and did a few faves of mine.
(sometimes, we get muddled, could be the name of a song?)
