Album disappointment of 2015?

What album didn't live up to your expectations this year?

I have 2....

Although I quite liked Rod Stewart's 2013 "Time" album, this year's "Another Country" is too full of Motown 'sha la la,it's a sunny day,I'm in love" type songs...it sounds like one long bad Motown song...

Don Henley's "Cass County" just too country for me.

That's exactly what I like about it. I still haven't got a physical copy though. Need to order it ASAP.

As for disappointments, I need to have a look at which albums I bought in 2015.

I wouldn't call this album a disappointment..........but it sure is a stinker.

I wasn't really anticipating it's release, therefore, I wasn't disappointed, but this album is horrible........

Bob Dylan - Shadows in the Night

Dylan has actually been doing some decent new material in the past 10 years, however, this Sinatra covers album is horrible!

[Riff Raff]

The newest Venom album. Not a stinker but definitely not that great at meeting expectations. Venom really need to try to do something even slightly different on future albums.

 

[Soot and Stars]

A great year in music in general with way more that I liked but after loving the last album Amaryllis perhaps the best of any of their albums this one just felt meh. It was more of a threat to my time for more inventive and quality Rock albums.
