I was organizing some LP's the otherday and ran across a few AC/DC LP's I hadn't put away. Started to think how long they've been around. SO, here's the question, Should AC/DC keep playing with a NEW singer, or hang it up ? BJ seems to be out of gas, but the rest of the guys seem to want to keep it going,,,,,comments ??

I didn't know Brian was ready to retire...I liked early ACDC the best, Bon Scott will always be the voice I associate with the band, I thought the first couple of albums with Brian were okay but I sort of lost track of them after "For Those About To Rock", I did pick up a copy of "Black Ice" a few months ago and it was decent.

I think if the nucleus of the band wants to get another singer and continue, then that is what they should do.

They should keep on rockin', that is what I think. Even a change in music style wont hurt them, as long as they dont come out sounding like the Jonas Brothers on steroids!

Sure, why not - as long as the new singer sounds reasonably like Bon/Brian who cares? They've been playing basically the same songs over and over for 35 years anyway and people are still tripping over themselves to throw money at them...it'd be ridiculous for them to stop if Angus wants to do it (Angus is really the only one in the band that matters IMO).
