Where any of you lucky enough to see AC DC with Bon Scott ?

I believe the last concert I saw with him was 1980 at the Toledo Speedway Jam in Toledo Oh about 40 minutes from where I grew up. ZZ Top was also there. The weather was very hot but it was incredible.

AC/DC didn't play in the US with Bon in 1980, only France and 2 make up shows in the UK before Bon died in the February. Would have been 79 on the Highway Tour.

Massive Ac/dc marathon today, went right up to The Razors Edge, have not had so much fun listening to shitloads of music in one day.
Anyway Razors Edge had some really under rated kick arse tunes.

anybody knows why mark evans (bass) ain't playin' with 'em any more?

Not sure, but I think Cliff Williams is a pretty under rated bass player, bass players for mine are the most under rated members of a band.

Back Seat Confidential.
Original version of Beaten Around The Bush, I kinda like this one better.

The Volts album that came with the Bonfire Box set is great. The early version of Whole Lotta Rosie is worth it alone.

I agree Dirty Eyes is killer, the original Touch Too Much kicks the shit out of the Highway to Hell version for mine which was a bit too slow tempo for my liking.

And I love Get It Hot on Volts more because its longer and sounded more raw.

Touch Too Much

Get it Hot
