Coincidentally, I was recently raging about Rolling Stones 250 Greatest Guitarist list for 2023. They include seven female guitarists ranking better than Alex Lifeson for example, including, Chrissie Hyndes, Joan Jett and Liz Phair.
They include five female guitarist such as Bonnie Raitt as ranking better than Eric Clapton and Chet Atkins.
I have nothing against these musicians. I have many albums from these musicians and I don’t know why I let it bother me at all. I do find it ridiculous but I’ll get over it soon.

Well......Clapton, Lifeson and even Atkins are virtuosos on guitar.......none of the women mentioned there are in that class imho....maybe Bonnie Raitt. So.....better in what way is the question?
