Let's see... It's 6 in the morning and I'm about to go to work, yeah I'd say I haven't had time to take one yet.

The only one I've heard of is Band of Skulls. When they first appeared, they advertised free downloads if you signed to their site. They had good publicity, so I signed in order to hear them. However, I received no music, but got loads of spam. When I eventually heard them on a CR sampler, they were not my thing at all. Since then, I've never bothered with free promotional mp3s, except from Big Big Train who are really good.

Well, Alabama Shakes, Of Monsters And Men and Dead Sara are all good bands. But I'm a sucker for agressive female vocals so Dead Sara it is.
