2 buddies are draggin' across the USA in their 747s

Found this song on a r2r tape from around '73 or '74. I can't find any references on any song-finding sites. It's about 2 buddies that are racing their 747s from NY to LA. Part of the lyrics are:
"I'm sitting on the runway in my 747" further into the tune:
"I see my buddy gaining on my starboard side", and the basic chorus is:
"Dragging, dragging across the USA. Dragging, dragging from NY to LA."
