Kiss will be debuting a new concert film, Kiss Rocks Vegas, at movie theaters “around the world” on May 25.

As you might suspect from the title, the film’s footage was shot during the band’s November 2014 residency at the Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. “We are all tremendously proud of this production,” declares guitarist Tommy Thayer. “It captures a truly unique performance. You need to see it in a cinema to get the full-on experience.”

A new website, KissMyCinema.com, has been set up to promote the film. While it currently offers no details about which theaters will be showing Kiss Rocks Vegas or which songs will be included in the set list, it does promise “exclusive footage you will only experience in the cinema,” plus “sky-high flames, ear-bursting volume and a few drops of blood.”

Kiss’ 2014 Las Vegas residency found the band playing nine shows in a much more intimate venue than the arenas it typically performs in and digging up fan favorites such as “Parasite” and “Do You Love Me” that had been missing from recent tours.

The group will embark on its sixth-annual Kiss Kruize this fall, which will include a recreation of the band’s 1982 Creatures of the Night tour, as well as an unmasked electric show featuring “deep cuts.” They also have a handful of land-based concerts scheduled for spring and summer 2016.
