I went to see the Helloween / Beast in Black show last night in Boston, MA.
Never saw or heard Beast in Black, but I was pleasantly surprised for the most part.
Helloween was freaking fantastic once again!
Here's a taste of the opening song "March of Time".
My review of the Testament / Overkill / Destruction concert from the Worcester Palladium on Friday March 27th, 2026 can now be read via this KNAC.COM link. It features photos from my fellow site writer/photographer @rockisgeorge!
Last night I went to see the Thrash of the Titans tour stop in Worcester, MA at the Worcester Palladium. Testament, Overkill and Destruction. Loved the show!
Here's a look at Destruction:
While you are welcome to your opinion, I could hardly call it The Cassette Chronicles if I was using CDs, streaming or vinyl. I mean, the header of each article pretty much explains the notion behind the whole series.
I didn't think I was going to pick up the album after reading the description, but I have to say that I really liked the song and I just might have to get the album after all.
Dropped by my friend's record shop today while out running some errands. I found a copy of the Kossoff album Back Street Crawler on CD in the bargain rack. Given that it has an outtake track from a Free album with Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke on it, I had to pick it up.
I was given a copy of the new Rabbit album Defenders of Rock by the guy in charge of the label that put it out here in the US. It's the band that ex-AC/DC singer Dave Evans is a part of.
My favorite album is their third one which is entitled Pissed. They played a new song called "One's Too Many" which is planned for the new studio album due sometime in 2026.
