In the last days, I've listened to this great album by Stevie Ray Vaughan & The Double Trouble released in 1997 featuring the powerful horn section of Roomful Of Blues and Marcia Ball as special guest:
Grateful Dead.
I love some songs by Eagles, especially the second awesome album Desperado, but the jams of The Deads often influenced by jazz music make them greater.

Great rock band well inserted into the experimental age of the Sixties. The drummer, Ed Cassidy, came from the west coast jazz circuit.
