    Music Festivals from 1970

There was one in Texas also in 1969 in Lewisville, north of Dallas. Before my time. Right after Woodstock it seems. Led Zeppelin was not big at the time. CSNY and an early version of Chicago among others...

Love his music. RIP. The Ecstasy of Gold is also on the Modelo commercial. His music made those movies.

    Black Sabbath or Pink Floyd

They are in different genres, not a fair comparison. If it was Sabbath and Purple or Sabbath and Priest, yes. Pink Floyd is totally different. They really have no peers, at least not from their era. I like both, depending on the mood.

Just saw it yesterday on netflix. It brought back a lot of memories for me as a kid. My first album was Fandango when it came out. Then I bought the first three albums. This was before they hit it big in the early 80's.

What's the loudest gig you've been to? Or which gig has made your ears ring the most

AC/DC "Highway To Hell" North American Tour 1979. My ears rang for three days. I do remember thinking about Angus, "what are these guys on?", lol. He didn't stop shaking his head all night long. I also thought "How can this guy handle that? I know I sure can't do that without getting dizzy". I...
