Blue Öyster Cult - "Box In My Head" - Official Audio (Buck)
Damn. A shit couple of years for UFO guys.
Paul Raymond 2019
Larry Wallis 2019
Paul Chapman 2020
Pete Way 2020
I was still holding out hope for a near-classic lineup reunion.
Happy first July morning of 2020! Let's forget about all the BS of this year for 10 minutes.
Look At Yourself was recorded 49 years ago this month.

To me, when an old band puts out new material, the songs should at least sound like it's their material. Like the last 2 KISS albums, even without Ace & Peter, they were 100% KISS (though Sonic Boom was the better of the 2 albums).
Also the 1995 UFO reunion album Walk On Water. That sounded...
Also a shame they still won't do a reunion with Hackett and/or Gabriel. Steve has been keeping busy, but I'm not sure about Peter.
Still, they should have time for a small to medium sized tour with Genesis.
I'd prefer a reunion with the Bouchard brothers, just to see if there's any magic left in the tank. I haven't heard Curse Of The Hidden Mirror, but Heaven Forbid was only OK.
Despite what the story says, they were always a bit underrated. But one of my all time favorite bands.
I had never heard of Justin till I saw this first video recommended on YT.

Do you think they were being too slavish to a concept on the album? As in, to the detriment of the quality of the individual songs?
To me, Judas Priest's Nostradamus was only OK because they spent too much of the 2 disc album trying to keep the concept together.
Jeebus! Is the back plastic cracked at all? I've had hundreds of CD's, some of them quite old and never had one crack in half. I've busted a few that were too scratched to play, but they didn't break than cleanly.
You know what I think?....
Larry was also in and out of UFO in 1972 without an official recording.
This seems to be from the "first" album On Parole and not any rerecorded version.

I love that video, for so many reasons and so many musicians. It shows the talent of Prince in a way I certainly never "got" when I was listening to his 80's stuff. He could easily have been Jimi Hendrix 2.0, but he did his own thing instead.
I really liked his "Revolution" era music a lot...
Dangerous Age and (of course) Holy Water were the best of his four great albums with Bad Company.
It was a hell of a comeback for the band. Rough Diamonds was pretty "meh" so it was more like 7 years between good BC albums.
I played Holy Water (the track) into the freakin' ground in the...
Amy still has one of the greatest voices in metal, or music for that matter. The writing and general direction of "Evanescence" has been completely disappointing since Fallen.
The debut album was my gateway drug to non-mainstream metal in a lot of ways. Lacuna Coil being the main goth metal...
