Once again your comment proves a point that RADIO playtime for any group, leaves out some of their best stuff. That is of course you only owned a radio to hear music..
To me that has always been a downfall for someone picking what songs to allow to be played..
@Hydrazoic Acid not trying to derail the thread, but your right about The Killer being a great pianist. I just watched a documentary yesterday about him and his energy and Rock boogie
woogie keyboard work was in a class of it's own. Crazy guy on a piano playing some great songs..
These are tough because you have to like em or hate em. It breaks down to a few songs by both artist that can change a vote. Neil voice is hard to like ..sometimes..
Simon and Garfunkel, master vocalist and great harmonies together..
Hit songs make the difference.. Still hard to vote for me..
I really don't know how to vote in this one.. Queen could win in the going the distance race, but it wasn't LZ fault the band broke up after JB death..
Both bands put out some whopper songs..
Yer right. Looked it up and Moon and Entwistle made the comment of calling the band Lead Balloon. Due to Page wanting to start a supergroup with Who members and The New Yardbirds..

Seriously this is one of those choices you make based on who do you listen to more.. Shame on radio playing way to many Beatle songs.. Stones for me too.
Back when I was 11 and the local radio station had a request line.. I was home alone with the radio on and I called so many times
and finally got through and requested "Revolution" .. Sat there and waited like 3 hours when the DJ finally played the song..

I liked allot of there old stuff.. I had to do a search not long ago based on the rumor that Elvis didn't like the Beatles.. It turns out he was threatened because
his songs were on the top charts till their Beatles started to pop out hits and his song went down the charts..
Right off it sounds like I'm not a Beatle fan but not true.. They have a huge catalog of songs and some are duds..
Out of all the Beatle tunes your familiar with, what song or songs do you think were not one of their best..
Mine would be the overplayed "Yellow Submarine" .. I get they make...
David Guetta amoungst others are taking music to the next level.. Usher and all the rest are grouping together in a massive way.. These guys on this forum are
precocious.. And prudent.. I'm open to this sorta thing.. Branch out Jester.. this thread is about different genres..
It's too different style singers for me. I like Early Roth like their first 3 albums.. Sammy with Halen.. Things changed and Sammy with say Chickenfoot is more like his style..
