Rory Gallagher vs Joe Bonamassa
I must admit, I prefer Joe's tunes that aren't pure blues, but edge more towards rock, and they are pretty much scattered through his solo work. Saxon vs Scorpions vs Thin Lizzy vs UFO
Oh man, they don't get any easier, do they?! I could not split Lizzy's Live and Dangerous and UFO's Strangers in the Night. Impossible. Wow, so much hate! lol I have to admit, I've learned to play lots of Rory's music on the guitar, but haven't even tried to get down anything by Joe. Maybe that should tell me something... Brilliant choice. I love the variation on this album with electric blues, acoustic blues, mandolin, rock... My favourite version of "Laundromat" too, which I love to mess about with on the guitar. Cracking riff to play!- Porch Monkey

A very good point, which I can't argue with, except to say that Joe uses horn sections a lot which I guess need to be carefully choreographed, and so may damp his ability to use spontaneity.
