Best artists to start into the blues?
From acoustic blues, including some of the best Leadbelly covers I've heard, to blues-rock, Alvin Youngblood Hart is definitely one to check out: Full band version of the same track for those who like it a bit more rocked up:- Porch Monkey

Thanks for the welcome messages folks :) @ Speed King, Just got a Fender USA Strat, tobacco sunburst, recent model, so nothing overly special. Tbh, I don't play it much anymore, but when I do pick it up, it's still mostly blues I fiddle with, and a few favourite Led Zep and Rory Gallagher bits...- Porch Monkey

It's a Sammy Hagar-Off!
I've always loved the tracks "Space Station no.5", "Bad Motor Scooter" and "Make It Last", whether it be with Montrose, or Sammy performing live on later recordings, so it's more about the songs for me. But definitely prefer him pre-VH.- Porch Monkey

Black Sabbath: Vol. 4 or Sabotage?
Sabotage for me. Ozzy's voice has a good hard edge to it on this album, and it definitely suits my darker moods.- Porch Monkey
