The Stooges Debut Album
I never was a Stooges fan, but I never cared for punk though they were more proto punk I suppose. To me their records were messy sounding and the songs were just ok....but lots of raw energy and I can see how some got into that. Review Deep Purple- Shades of Deep Purple (1968) ** 1/2
Love Rod Evans in 'Captain Beyond'.....still play that at least once a month....havent played a DP lp for quite a while. I find their music ok most of the time except for Child In Time , Fools, and a few other oddball things where they go beyond just hard rock and those are interesting.- dr wu
