    Strange to hear that 80s dance beat in a Queen song. Brian May's guitar work was a much-needed addition to prevent the song from falling into the territory of a mediocre pop tune. 7/10

    I've seen these girls before and they're very talented. However, I don't think this was the best song to cover as that repetitive riff sounds much better on a guitar than it does on a harp. 6.8/10

    My tastes in Bowie songs is very particular. This obviously has Gothic influences but lacks a bit musically. Bowie's vocals though help to redeem the song, especially when he sings that chorus. 6.8/10

    The violins were interesting...although an interesting choice for a synth band where that sound is usually re-produced by a keyboard. Not his best song but worth the listen. 7/10

    ABC was an unheralded band who put out some good hits like this one but never got the credit they deserved. What happened to all the debonair dudes from the 80s like Martin Fry and Bryan Ferry? You never see guys today try to emulate these men and that's a damn shame. 8/10

    Love Berlin and especially their lead singer who still looks sexy...even today. Musically, I think the song is lacking a little but Terri Nunn's vocals bring it up a notch. 7/10

    This is one artist around in the early 80s that I hadn't heard of. The song sounds like a minor hit of sorts, a little melodic with a nice horn section; something I'd like to revisit at another time along with diving into the rest of his catalog. 7.5/10

    Too many notes. If you've seen Amadeus, you'll get that joke. Seriously though, I'm not sure how to critique these classical pieces as every one of them has a good deal of artistic merit due to the obscene amount of musical talent back then. I did like the instrumentation and the transitions...

    Nice opening riff. Strange to see that they still used strings back in their early days as this is such a raw, hard rock song. There had to be one or two guys in ELO that were asking themselves, "Do we really need a violinist in this band?" 7.5/10
