    KISS (Official Thread)

I joined the Kiss Army in 1978. It was really cool because I was 16 at the time and when I got that Kiss Army kit in the mail I was so fired up that nothing else in the world mattered. It was a black folder with the Kiss Army logo on it and inside was a discography paper, a membership card, a...

    W.A.S.P. (Official Thread)

Wow! I didn't see this post yesterday and yet for some unknown reason I was on YouTube and decided to watch the full Live at the Lycium 1984 concert! I had no idea it was the 30th anniversary of their debut. I still get in my WASP moods...earlier this year I bought the remasters of their debut...

    Styx (Official Thread)

I had just said to my wife last night that I wish Styx would reunite with DeYoung and that was right after seeing Styx in Lewiston,NY last night. Nothing against Gowan because he works out great with Styx and put on a great performance. That's all I'll say about Styx vs DeYoung. Styx put on...

    Forgotten Rebels

The Forgotten Rebels were awesome last Saturday night and as I sat up in the bleachers I wanted nothing more than to be 25-30 years younger so I could have been right up front slam dancing with the crowd. Even my wife turned to me and said "You really want to be upfront don't you!" It was really...

I'm hoping to make it out to see the Forgotten Rebels in Lewiston, NY tonight. Thanks Mr. Jim for the heads up on the show! This will be the first time in 23 years they are playing in the US so I don't want to miss them. I've been listening to them non stop since yesterday.

    Heart (Official Thread)

Just seen Heart live at Artpark in Lewiston,NY and once again they put on a phenomenal show! It was just one great song after another. They opened with Magic Man & went right into Barracuda followed by Heartless, What About Love, and Dreamboat Annie. Heart did play a few Zeppelin tunes...

    KISS (Official Thread)

This is awesome! Obviously Collen is a Kiss fan...I really liked his pre-Def Leppard band "Girl" which also had Phil Lewis from LA Guns & they did cover "Do You Love Me" by Kiss on their Sheer Greed album

    Alice Cooper (Official Thread)

The documentary that was recently released Super Duper Alice Cooper is great although it only goes up to 1986... so I'm wondering if there will be a part 2. It is phenomenal to see some of the real old footage and I ended up getting the deluxe version which comes with a 12" x12" hard cover book...

    The Winery Dogs (Official Thread)

Wow! I've had the Winery Dogs album for quite a while & I liked it a lot but that was about it. I listen to it every so often & think "This is a good album!" & then I'd forget about it. My wife really enjoys them so this past Saturday they were playing in a club here in Buffalo so we decided to...

    The Stooges (Official Thread)

Nothing wrong with that...Raw Power is my favorite of the Stooges but I feel the first 2 albums had a lot of good tunes. Now I Wanna be Your Dog, No Fun, TV Eye, Dirt, 1970, & Down on the Street are personal favs from the first 2 records

    Johnny Thunders (Ex NY Doll)

I've been waiting for this! I read somewhere probably around October it will get released. It supposedly is much better than the Lech Kowalski movie that never saw an official release but occasionally pops up on Youtube. That film was dark & was more about the druggie Thunders than the...

    RIP Dick Wagner

I3Oq1IBQCPA I became a fan of Dick Wagner around 1978 when I purchased my first Alice Cooper record "The Alice Cooper Show". At the time I had no idea about the original Cooper band nor had I heard any of his tunes. I bought the album because I was heavy into Kiss & when I seen the cover &...

    Max Webster (Official Thread)

Terry's Corners was great and yes we did see Kim Mitchell there(maybe twice). He did play Patio Lanterns Sunday! I remember the one show we were at outside at September's(probably around the same time we saw the Divinyls) and Kim was amazing that night as well. Always great shows & great times

    Max Webster (Official Thread)

Jim, it was excellent! It wasn't as crowded as I thought. Kim Mitchell actually opened for Tom Cochran who had a couple of hits (Lunatic Fringe & Life is a Highway). We left after Kim because I was pretty sore and it was 90 degrees with no shade. From what I heard not many people stuck around...

    R.I.P. Johnny Winter

I was really saddened by Winter's death. I have been a huge fan since the late 70's. I'll never forget...It must've been around 1986 I decided to count my Johnny Winter records & was shocked when I counted 17! My favorites are Progressive Blues Experiment, Still Alive & Well, & Captured. We...

    Best album of the 70s.

I would say my opinion of the best album of the 70's would have to be.... Some Girls by the Rolling Stones! Plenty of variety on that album Disco(Miss You), pop(Beast of Burden), Country(Faraway Eyes), or dirty in your face Rock & Roll(When the Whip Comes Down, Respectable, Lies) All around...

    KISS (Official Thread)

I was debating about going to see them this August and finally decided no...I didn't want to pay 100 bucks for 13 songs and I really hated mid/late 80's Def Leppard so I had no desire this time. Turns out I am having surgery on the day of the Kiss show & after seeing the broadcast on YouTube I...
