    after a lot of effort, I finally found it! He was a Hungarian guitarist and violinist, naturalized Frenchman. He was of Romani ethnicity and was the cousin of guitarist Diango Reinhardt, one of the most talented jazz musicians. He also played with the great Dizzy Gillespie.
