I had to do likewise with several early copies of Genesis' 'Lamb Lies Down on Broadway' album which skipped frantically during B1, 'Back in NYC', all because of the resonating bass line. This was corrected in later re-issues and, thankfully, I have a perfect vinyl copy now.

What's the last gig that you went to?

WISHBONE ASH last night at Holmfirth Picturedrome. Celebration of 50 years of 'Argus'. Generally good gig (except for the phantom farter!) Gig review here.

PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI (PFM) - 'L'Isola di Niente': £20.87 Green vinyl Italian re-issue. Far better than the English re-has 'The World Became The World'.

Vinyl again... GENESIS - 'The Lost Radio Recordings': £20.99 Love this early stuff. ALICE COOPER GROUP - 'Live At The Astroturf': £30.99 Curacao coloured vinyl, with DVD. Mine is numbered 372/5000 Absolutely brilliant sound from the original band (minus Glen Buxton, of course)

FRANKIE MILLER - 'Falling in Love' Contains one of his two massive hits - 'Darlin' - but the best song he did (in my humble opinion) was the eponymous opener of the 'Full House' album.

FRANKIE MILLER'S FULL HOUSE - 'Full House' Fabulous Scottish rocker with a voice like neat whiskey, I saw him and his band twice back in the '70s. Sadly, another one not around today.

Both vinyl and CD of the first album are indeed hard to find. I too had a CD which I sold but I have a really good vinyl copy which I spin very regularly.

Thank you, Mr Postie! LITTLE FEAT - 'Down on the Farm': eBay £2.50 I bought a second-hand copy of this a few months ago but took it back because of there being way too much crackle, and I've had to wait all this time to find a really good copy. Worth it, mind...
