    Boston Foreplay/Long Time 2014

That's a lot of shows Fever, I sort of wish they called the band "Tom Scholz's Boston" instead of the original name but considering he's the founder that's not likely to happen.

    Pink Floyd (Official Thread)

I think you would have to ask Roger what the lyrics mean MW,,,and in many songs the writers themselves leave things obscure on purpose.

Thread Closed What Are You Listening To?

Glass of chocolate milk...a few weeks ago instead of buying the Nestles chocolate syrup I bought the old fashioned powder that we grew up with and I have to say it tastes a lot better to me, not as sweet with more chocolate flavour, of course I'm biased and am sure nostalgia is part of the...

Thread Closed What Are You Listening To?

We have a similar climate to North's, we go to -30 or even -40 C in the winter and close to +40 C in the summer, continental climate zones are usually like that we don't have the ocean or a large body of water close to moderate the temperature variations. Today windy and pouring rain, but...

Sarah Palin Blames Sammy Hagar for Her Speeding Ticket

Probably Sammy's biggest hit song at least the one I think of most often when he's mentioned. Pretty sure it's happened to everyone who likes music a particular song comes on when you're driving and nobody else is around you just can't help yourself.:heheh:

    Boston Foreplay/Long Time 2014

He looks a lot 'bigger' than Brad Delp to me but there is a resemblance. That is one of their best songs but the bottom end is missing at least on the video.

Tony Iommi All For Tom Jones Collaboration

That is exactly the thought that popped into my head reading this thread :heheh: I like Tom Jones, I like Sabbath and Iommi too but can't imagine what kind of collaboration would come from them getting together. Sort of like Eddie Van Halen recording with Michael Jackson on Thriller, Quincy...

    Italian Prog

Nice thread Fabio, I came way late to the Italian Prog Party but have quite a few albums now, I just don't have the time to really explore them as fully as I would like to.

New David Lee Roth album with John 5

Yeah the guitarists testimonial of his own work comes across like he feels he's written Beethoven's 9th Symphony or something epic.:heheh:

Ted Nugent gig cancelled over his 'Views'

I enjoy Ted's old stuff right up to Double Live Gonzo after that I lost interest in his music and him. Having said that even though I support freedom of speech if you are going to espouse your politics left/right/center or the philosophy you believe in then you are opening yourself up to...

    Max Webster (Official Thread)

^^That's not a bad combo though, Tom Cochrane(Red Rider) and Kim Mitchell(Max Webster) but Kim Mitchell is amazing in a live show and TC would never be able to generate the energy that Kim does.

"There's something in the air."- Keith Richards

Nothing seems able to stop the Stones so I think Richards is right there must be some 'mystical energy' that is created when they are together that has kept them touring for 5 decades. I agree with Lynch a new album...meh...I understand why veteran bands do it though, more for themselves than...

Your top 10 Rock Albums of All Time

That is a very good list Fump and great to see BTO make your top 10, II is a fabulous record. A lot of haters out there for the band but I don't let that bother me, rock and roll doesn't have to be complex to be good.

New David Lee Roth album with John 5

Could be that he is looking through a pair of 'rose colored glasses' when summarizing his latest collaboration with David Lee Roth. :heheh: I didn't know anything about his previous work with Rob Halford, but why doesn't he get hold of the original tape and release the songs as they were...

    New Joe Perry solo album

^^Reads like Aerosmith had a 'perfect shitestorm' when their last album came out, everything that could possibly go wrong did. Seems like bands take a few months to step back after either being disappointed with their last project/tour, or fatigued from all the travel/shows to support the new...
