^^Still my pick of the litter when it comes to Moodies albums MP, and I played my vinyl copy last night in fact.:D

Vocalist Who Have Gotten Better Over Time!

I'm not really surprised you feel that way, there are quite a few fans of RUSH who loved their early sound, and then there are plenty of us who feel the band hit it's mark with Moving Pictures. Quite a few people I knew who didn't like RUSH before MP came out changed their mind. I just think...

    Tell us about your stereo!

Yep even my little tube amplifier puts out a lot of heat.:D I like the warmth the tube amp gives my CD's especially my classical music. So you are leaning toward a new Vincent Jim?

    Best Don Felder Eagles song

Hotel California is Felder's best known Eagles song, out of the choices I'll take the same one as Billy, Victim of Love.

    Tell us about your stereo!

^^Bryston builds top quality equipment and it's expensive too. I just didn't need my 4B any more so I sold it over ten years ago. Is the Sherbourn mainly for HT/movies George?

Vocalist Who Have Gotten Better Over Time!

Geddy Lee for my money, the difference when you listen to "Moving Pictures" compared to RUSH's first 3 albums is amazing, he really matured into a fine rock singer.

    Stephen Pearcy Quits Ratt

I didn't even know Ratt was still touring...:peek

"A Different Reality" - Aldo Nova

^^That's not bad at all, I've always liked Aldo's debut solo album and was surprised he was part of Blue Oyster Cult for a long time when the band was going through it's personnel changes.

Overcast and chilly this morning, almost like we're in a fog bank but as long as it rains that's all that matters to me.

^^Love the techno-babble gentlemen...:grinthumb Well I am hoping Jim ends up with your Para...if it fits in with his overall plan. Back to our vintage discussion for a moment George, Marantz is still well loved to this day by many fans, there are quite a few specialty shops who will upgrade...

Leftoverture vs. Point Of Know Return

This is hard like choosing between 2 of your kids...but I'll have to go with Leftoverture one reason is the production quality is better than Point of Know Return. Both of these albums have to be heard on the original vinyl to truly appreciate them, the CD mixes lose so much it's amazing once...

71 lbs that is a Beast...:wow: Amps of that size are almost burglar proof along with providing enormous amounts of raw clean power. George, back to your comment about the subtle differences between different brands of amplifiers, I've always noticed that certain brands have a distinct sound...

Surprised he's still actively touring, not coming this far north which is par for the course.:gig

    The Slider vs. The Outsider

Ian Hunter, starts off really slow but builds up nicely, I'm only a mediocre fan of T-Rex myself although Marc Bolan was talented too.

    Battle Of The Crims

I picked both as well, ITWOP got a lot of 'stick' for being a near duplicate of their debut but I never felt that way, both are essential for any KC collection.

    Tell us about your stereo!

^^There is no rush, when I first started buying equipment it took 2+ years to get a complete system up and running. I bought my Yamaha CA-1010 before I had a turntable or speakers, then I inherited my Mom's old Dual 1214 TT and bought a pair of nice Sony headphones which I made do with for...

    Happy Record Store Day!!

^^Limited editions are designed to do that, which is why MFSL offers a 'pre-order' when they are doing a run of a classic album. That way you can spend a reasonable amount and get a nice brand new copy. Later when the pressing sells out you'll see them surface at the usual outlets for a lot...
