Chevelle is a trio from the Chicago area. They are as heavy as many bands with more members. It's rare to find a band these days of brothers that are also high quality. They were once all blood brothers, but Joe Loefeller left the band and was replaced by a brother in law. Wonder What Next was their debut album and rivals any debut in the new millenium.

I have picked up three of their albums, you told me about them months ago in the old pen Greg, and they are a kick-ass band no doubt.::rock:

I liked their first album Greg

I mostly liked the singles

The Red

Send The Pain Below

though and didn't grasp the rest of the album and therefore didn't buy their follow up albums. My friend has all of theirs and is a big fan so maybe i'm missing out. Could you post some tracks from their follow up to Wonder What's Next that might get me back into them? :D

Ten Years is a decent band is you like melodic hard rock bands with a vocalist resembling the lead singer of Tool! :grinthumb

Re: Chevelle

Sevendust is a pretty heavy rocker, very similar to Disturbed or Godsmack. Be prepared for some thrash drumming :)

Re: Chevelle

Chevelle in a metal forum...they are more of a grungy hard rock band to me than metal.

I like them, they do pump out some jams.

Re: Chevelle

Wonder What's Next is one of my all time favorite albums. Their follow-up This Type of Thinking is amazing too. I'm seeing them with Evanescence next month. Can't wait.
