Disagree with Dylan.

Agreed with Morrison. It was mostly the dynamic chemistry between Morrisons broody singing and the instrumentalists which made the Doors great. Also their collective song-writing was top notch.

To be completely honest, there isn't one single lyricist on either list that I really care for. I'd rather listen to Morrison and the Doors over any of them, but I'll be the first to say that Morrison wrote some ridiculously dingy lyrics too. I like the doors more for the music and Morrison's voice than the actual words he spoke.

I'm not really sure about underrated lyricists (have to get back to you on that one..) but this has got to be said...

BONO is overrated, in my opinion. His lyrics are just...mediocre, along with everything U2 related (IMO..)

I honestly don't understand what people see in him. Or that band.

Thank you , someone understands!

It doesn't help that Bono (and the rest of the band, but him especially) are pretentious egomaniacs.
