The Songs That Should have been on the list:

Another Girl
I Dont Want To Spoil The Party (amazing song)
This Boy (WHY is this not on??)
Octopusses' Garden (idk how to spell it)
Im Looking Through You
I Need You
Not A Second Time

Songs That Should Have Not Been On or Lower:

Sexy Sadie
Ballad of John and Yoko
Baby Youre A Rich Man
You're Going to Lose That Girl (way too high)
Dig a Pony
Yes It Is
Dont Let Me Down
I Want You (Shes So Heavy)
Im Down (too high)
Come Together (WAYY To high)
Happiness Is A Warm Gun
Yer Blues

Anyone agree/disagree? What did you think was missing? What should have been excluded.

I pretty well agree with you - with one exception. "The Ballad of John and Yoko" is a great rocker and deserves to be even higher on the list. Just because you don't like Yoko is no reason to dismiss the track.

The hatred for yoko has nothing to do with me hating the track, besides the fact that the lyrics are about her, and are terrible (would be terrible about any woman)

The guitar and stuff is OK, so I guess it isnt that bad, but still..

the meeting of those 2 should never ever have been documented or discussed.

WOOOOW.

Like I said they must really love "I Want to Hold Your Hand". I still can't believe it got into number 2 over better songs like She Loves You or Ticket To Ride in their Top 10 Beatles songs list.

So I've sat down and thought hard about a top ten disagreement for this list, meaning I will state the top ten songs which should've been included and ten songs which should have not, as well as some other info like where I felt it should be ranked (lets assume that the songs there right now are not there, you know what I mean)

Top Ten Songs That Should Have Been Included:

10. Another Girl- Paul McCartney- Help!
Should Be Ranked At: Around 100.

9. I Me Mine- George Harrison- Let It Be
Should Be Ranked At: Around 80.

8. For You Blue-George Harrison- Let It Be
Should Be Ranked At: Around 75.

7. Octopus' Garden- Richard Starkey- Abbey Road
Should Be Ranked At: Around 65.

6. Old Brown Shoe- George Harrison- B Side
Should Be Ranked At: Around 60.

5. I Need You- George Harrison- Help!
Should Be Ranked At: Around 45.

4. Good Morning Good Morning- Lennon- Sgt. Peppers
Should Be Ranked At: About 35.

3. This Boy- Lennon- B Side
Should Be Ranked At: Around 20.

2. I'm Looking Through You- Paul McCartney- Rubber Soul
Should Be Ranked At: Around 20.

1. I Don't Want To Spoil The Party- Lennon- B Side
Should Be Ranked At: 11-12

This is one of my favorite early Beatle tunes. Though its popularity doesn't match up to songs like Love Me Do or Please please Me, I feel as if its quality is just as good if not better. The lyrics describe the situation you and I have both been in many times perfectly. The vocals are of a good, almost country style quality. Perfection.

Now for the top 10 songs that should have been not included/ranked lower. (lower meaning numerically higher. again you know what I mean)

10. Come Together
Lower.

9. Ballad of John and Yoko
Lower.

8. Sexy Sadie
Lower.

7. Youre Going To Lose That Girl
Lower.

6. I Want You Shes So Heavy
Lower.

5. Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
Lower.

4. Yellow Submarine
Off the list.

3. Yer Blues
Off the list.

2. Mother Natures Son
Off the list.

1. Baby Youre A Rich Man
Off the list. Wayyy off.

I could see reasoning for every song in these last four to be near the top 100, besides Baby Youre A Rich man. That song is TERRIBLE.

anyway, I like the list, its not bad, and they didnt miss any top 10s for me (well that werent on the list- id like to see some get higher ratings)
