    Forgotten Bands of the Sixties

    - I have that tune on a compilation album... Really a great melodic piece of psychedelic pop, but I don't remember the history behind it... If I get ambitious I'll dig out the liner notes... -

    Paul Revere & the Raiders

As far as their heavier stuff I would recommend "Louie Go Home", or "Hungry" (which was a big hit)... That should give you a taste... Oh, another song that was a big hit but was pretty heavy for its time was "Just Like Me"... -

    Paul Revere & the Raiders

This band doesn't get the attention they deserve for the "heaviness" of their sound in some of their songs... They were proto hard rock in many ways... -

    Forgotten Bands of the Sixties

A good British Invasion band that rarely gets mentioned these days are The Dave Clark Five... Back in 1964-65 they were among the pop elite... Now they seem to barely be a footnote to that era... -

    Favorite Beatles Album

The White Album for me... It does have some clinkers, but the wide variety of music (most at a premium level) that is offers gives one a top shelf selection of musical greatness all in one package... The diversity of music is amazing and the quality of that diversity is what makes it so very...

Re: Classic Rock Forums are back up. - He had some problems with people at RM treating his kids poorly and there were a lot of behinds the scenes junk going on so he left the site... I have to dig around and see if I have an email address for him... I'll drop him a line... -
