ive probably got this wrong. but xyz aren't getting back together? squires gone to be with jesus, i think alan white is busy with yes. am i missing something?
well the weird thing is the article above says plant was keen on it, but all the stuff ive read said that he thought the music was too complex.
having listened to the demos. its not like yes 90120 era... more like pre-drama yes. and its nothing like the firm either. and to be honest i can't...
ive heard them.... squire does most of the singing... it sounds more like yes than zeppelin. we can only wonder how a fully fledged album would have panned out.
ahhh no there is absolutely a reason for roth to give a few sammy era songs a go, the main one being out of respect for the fans who came on board during the sammy era and bought the whole back catalog.
i have to give this to steve howe, as much as he's been a whining old tart about trevor...
and it's happened again... i thought i may have my old e-mail address as the e-mail for this forum, but i recieved a birthday e-mail in my new e-mail from this site.
could somebody rectify this please? i try contacting the admin , im not sure if my e-mails even get through. and i can't even...
the biggest reason he won't sing them is because he hasn't got the voice to handle sammy's stiff.
he actually doesn't have the voice to handle his own stuff.
didn't page say he was going to release some unheard stuff? i was itching for the the unreleased stuff and then it's only different mixes of existing stuff.
won't happen. dave fanatics are quite happy with the current half erect version of van halen.
to be honest the dave fanatics don't care if mike is not in the band. as long they have dave fronting van halen. even if his voice has seen better days.
i loved every album 1978-84 but adkot still...
