I'm not what anybody would call a big fan of The Dandy Warhols but that doesn't mean they are without talent. They released an album chock full of covers earlier this year and it's worth a few listens.
Here are my top ten lists of the 2020's. I love new music and make it a point to listen to new releases.

I loved when Ian opened with this song in 2014 at The Beachland in Cleveland. Probably my all time favorite Ian Hunter show out of the 18 times I've seen him.
I for one was surprised when Robert Palmer became a big MTV superstar. I loved his simpler pub rocker "Bad Case Of Loving You (Doctor Doctor)" in 1978 and later discovered his totally awesome album, "Sneakin' Sally Through the Alley" from 1974.
I think All The Young Dudes did so much more on a much broader stage. Mott The Hoople took a Bowie guide vocal version and reinvented it to become a song that defined a generation. I'm a dude, man!
I always thought it was a little petty that Bowie never recorded a version until the Aladdin...
A new release by Jon Spencer on May 12. The long time garage rocker is being backed by the bassist and drummer of the Bobby Lees and they are smokin' hot. I saw them once and look forward to the next time they come around.

I know them from the syndicated Z Rock radio in the '80's whose programming made most metal bands that you had heard of seem like wussies. King Diamond was their version of middle of the road.
I would include Manowar in prog due to their mythology themes and the talent of Ross The Boss on...
