Some early/mid 1970s 'pop songs' were ok but the decade belonged to album orientated bands and leaving the f**king power cuts in England and the 3 day week to one side it was my decade when I came of age and the world was still young.

Not strictly an acoustic song but I have always liked it and still like it Albert Hammond's Free Electric Band from 1973 although I think Albert plays an acoustic guitar right through the song it's played against a full band setting of electric guitar, bass & drums. I always thought that song sounds like it's from 1967 or 1968 rather than 1973?.

I agree E-Z..Sky Arts channel did a docu on him a while back, made for excellent viewing...gonna slip this in..wonder how many squillions Paul made from My Way?
