Previous Membership?.

Hi guy's that's especially to LWM, Shaggy, SDM & Shoot & Stars I was wondering if I could have my previous Classic Rock Forum membership taken into account and combined into my current forum membership if possible please?.

I was originally a Classic Rock Forum member with a starting date of September 4th 2011 with the user name of E-Z RIDER but due to a slight misunderstanding with Cosmic Harmony who appears not to be active on this forum anymore since October 25th 2014 my previous account was deleted (by her I believe?) some time around 2012 although I can't remember exactly when it was now but anyway a number of my old posts are still in evidence on the forum and one in particular can be found on the 1960s music thread about the rock band Spirit where it clearly shows my old user name E-Z RIDER so I was wondering if you could combine my old account with my current account and restore my old starting date of September 4th 2011 plus also combine my previous amount of posts that stood at 550 before being deleted with my current amount of posts (including this one) which will make a grand total of 944.

It may not have been deleted, in fact, the fact that posts from your old user name are still visible, may indicate the problem could be fixed with a password re-set. Admins usually don't delete accounts unless the user is obviously a spammer. If your old user name were banned, it would say banned somewhere under the avatar or the avatar itself would say "banned". The reason Admins don't normally delete accounts is because it causes gaps in threads that causes confusion when the thread is read. They can however, keep a user from loging on by re-seting the password, essentially locking the user out. I'm not saying this happened in this case, I'm just saying there are a few different ways a user can be locked out. If my theory is correct, the problem could be fixed with a password re-set. As far as merging all the posts from your new user name to your old user name, that may require some effort, it depends on the forum software, some are more packed with options than others.

I guess it isn't the end of the world if it can't be done it's just that I thought I would ask and see if my joining date could be changed from 2013 back to 2011 and my previous 550 posts of mine be added to my current tally of posts of 395?.

@E-Z, I had a look at your old account and I honestly have no idea what happened back then. Your account had not been deleted, otherwise, it wouldn’t still exist. All I could see was an active account that hadn’t been used for years, making me think that maybe Cosmic Harmony had put a temporary ban on it or perhaps had changed the password (not usual custom, but who knows). Not sure we’ll ever find out what happened exactly, unless CH reappears. Anyway, that's all in the past. I've merged the two accounts, so all your stats just got a boost.
