Here's a band that's made up of two pairs of siblings that have played live since their late teens. The band uses that youth to create a voracious energy that's both tight hard Rock with a little bit of quirky sloppy Punk Rock mixed in. Think female Hard Rock groups like The Pretty Reckless/Dead Sara/Flyleaf mixed with the The Yeah Yeah Yeahs!

Cry
(I'm a huge fan of ballads especially from a versatile Hard Rock vocal. This one's my favorite off of the album)

" Cry " is a wonderful song....the strongest of the tracks you uploaded Soot . Never underestimate the power of a ballad...it seems
The rest of the tracks are quite reasonable but when the singer starts to shout rather than sing it gets on me a bit.
Overall they sound a real promising band, Thanks for the introduction !

So far just had time to listen to Captivate - nice one!!! Will listen to more after work.

The shouty/screamy style may be an acquired taste Lou. It syncs with more variations of screaming akin to Post 2,000's Rock and Metal styles. They are a band of youngsters so the franticness is kind of like a sugar rush type of Rock. I really appreciate your input and taking the time to listen. It's always nice to see these post not sink straight to the bottom. :)

Sunny, thanks for listening! I think these guys and gals are up your alley! :grinthumb

Quite interesting band. I didn't expect much, but I have to admit that I like the singers voice, although I agree with LOU/REALM about her screamy voice. Not because I don't like those type of vocals, I just think they make her sound average. The band has a nice ear for melodies. Definitely lots of potential there, but perhaps also a lack of real identity imo.

I'm listening to the songs you've posted, Soot... and well... they're very interesting and pleasant to listen to.
I agree with Lou, about the fact that "Cry", the ballad, is the nicest.
