Re: Talking Heads

I liked the Talking Heads the first time I heard them which was their cover of "Take Me to the River". My favorite song by them is "Psycho Killer" & although this isn't the Talking Heads it is the Fools with one of my favorite parody songs...Psycho Chicken!!:

there was a new Rock Radio station coming to the Buffalo area in 1980 & for 1 week straight 24 hours a day before it went on the air they played that "Psycho Chicken" song

Re: Talking Heads

Tina Weymouth is the hottest female bassist, EVER!
She is great with the Tom Tom Club, too.

Re: Talking Heads

What's really incredible is that the Tom Tom Club, which was basically a light-hearted dance combo, could be launched as a side project by Tina and Chris Frantz who were regarded as hard-core punkers!

The Name Of This Band Is...

Talking Heads!

talking-heads.jpg

One of the most influential and successful new wave band of the 80's, Talking Heads are characterised by the eccentricity of their frontman and lead singer David Byrne.

They have had a long and fruitful career including 8 studio albums and world renowned live shows, spanning from 1974 until 1991.

P.S: Bonus points if you knew the band before opening the thread :grinthumb
