^^Many songs this time of year do the same to me Joe...and there's nothing wrong with that either.

I used to watch all the children's Christmas shows and many of the songs on the list were part of them.

I miss being a kid this time of year it was so much fun.

^^You had plenty of time to add it Vehicle, but I didn't think of it until you mentioned it.

Using my powers I have Added Vehicle's request to the list so there are 51 songs to choose from now.

The original Boris Karloff narrated Grinch is my favorite Christmas cartoon...the Jim Carrey version was decent but can't compare to the original.

The list is now complete.

I don't think I'll play in the stripping part though, I like traditional songs way more than the rock versions and they'll most likely be the first ones taken off.

But this thread has inspired me to play my Nat King Cole Christmas CD, hands down the best versions of traditional songs I've ever listened to.

Other than that I play the Charlie Brown jazzy Christmas album as well, such great music I was tickled to get a new vinyl copy last winter.:grinthumb

We don't have to strip it. Does seem kind of anti-Christmas to remove songs from the list. :uh: Let me know what you think.

Your thread so the final decision is up to you Jake.

But leaving it as is seems like a class thing to do to me.:cheers2

Interesting John Lennon "Happy Xmas (War is Over)" missed the cut, but then I guess people are over that song now. :D EDIT:Well that was close. :D

The one I missed sadly is Rolf Harris "Six White Boomers"
