I should have asked for these dvd's for christmas, with this extensive collection I wouldn't mind having them...

also, if I ever own my own radio station(this is after I get filthy friggin' rich by being a famous musician of course) I will hold a marathon and play every one of those performances back to back, commercial free(I'm filthy friggin' rich, its a good investment in my book)

Didn't they also have Steve Martin and Richard Pryor on the show? I'm sure other comedians too, but I really might have to find a download of the dvd's, I hate spending my money on this stuff, McD's only gave me four hours this week and I need to finish making my money back from my latest amp purchase lol, only 300 more dollars that will be my next two paychecks hopefully, but I don't think I'll want to spend my money on dvd's then...more guitar gear to buy

Loved this show! Used to do my darndest to stay up long enough to watch it as a teenager. I remember seeing the Allman Brothers, Frank Marino, Nugent, Bad Company, etc.

Count me in, I used to stay up to watch this one too, my Mom being a big music fan herself didn't mind us staying up late watching Midnight Special.
