I heard a couple of years ago that he was getting better, so I assumed (or hoped) he is now fit and well! Blodywyn Pig were a lively and original group who should have achieved the success of contemporaries like Ten Years After.

for what its worth, the new edition of benefit is probably worth getting for the fans who class themselves as collectors in the sense that they must have everything. nothing wrong with that and cd2 in the set has variations and different mixes of the associated recordings such as singing all day, sweet dream, 17 [long version] and witch's promise for example.

cd1 sounds beautiful and the dvd containing the 2013 mixes in dts and dolby ac3 5.1 surround sound is amazing.

The original CD2 contained different tracks to those on the album, including Witch's Promise and Teacher. On the new issue, they have added stereo/ mono/ US/ UK/ album/ single versions of various tracks, which seem to be for collectors. 5.1 means nothing to me because I cannot play them.

I haven't thought about getting the deluxe CD...the 5.1 sounds interesting but I've been playing my mint vinyl copy exclusively since I bought it almost a year ago.
