As much of a sin against Sooty as it is I didn't really care for "Oceania" that much. I've listened to it several times since it came out thinking it'd grow on me but....not as of yet. I don't dislike it but I am not wowed by it either. It's just another album to me. Maybe I was just expecting something better after all the hype.

I feel exactly the same way. It's not a bad album, but I was expecting a bit better. I still think its their best effort since melloncollie and the infinite sadness.

$127 bucks well worth spent my friend! There's three disc of extra tracks and they are of great quality! Plus a live DVD! The booklet has a lot to read with a retrospective and details about each track! Love love love it!

I have to admit, I love the album, have been a massive fan right from before they were big and been buying their stuff for over 20 years and used to buy everything but this is about £70 wgich is way too expensive, currently £140 on Amazon.

I do love the band and have so much of their stuff and have seen them loads of times but I refuse to pay this much for a reissued album. If it was a lot less in price then I would probably buy it but not at that price. I still will pick up Siamese Dream and Pisces at a low price but I will draw the line at this. Be wortha few pennies in a few years probably.

Are they trying to get money for a pension or something:mad

It's only that much for the deluxe version. If you just want the two disc reissue then it's much cheaper. The Deluxe Reissue is reeeeaaaallly nice but is only for hardcore fans I suppose. They are my absolute favorite band so it was an easy buy for me. I mean it's six disc of music, a great setup, tons of visuals and great liner notes and just a massive piece for display! It's a collectors price and $100+ is not pocket change but they definitely give you the money's worth IMO!

I am a hardcore fan and would love everything but that is just too much, I have bills to pay and do spend loads on music and film but that is soooo much more. Probably stick to my original CD set and dream of this box set

I understand! I just got a new car so I'll have to start cutting back a little myself!

BTW what year was the live DVD filmed? I might have to pick this up haha.
