Listening to some songs now and its pretty mediocre at best. Musically it has its good moments but the vocals suck ass.

I was hoping Steve was gonna drop some UFO at their peak style shit on us, especially when the words 'classic rock' were mentioned. Sadly not it seems.

Best thing he and Maiden did was be rid of Di Anno. lol
Maiden went well uphill since that.
I am gonna check out Steves other solo albums.

I would put it this way...best thing Maiden ever did was pick up Bruce Dickinson.
Obviously vastly improved band from that point on...

DaKillerWolf it's been a long time bud.

Yeah well 95% would go a long with you on wot you say but i'm one of the 5% that always preferred Paul Di Anno's stint in the band.

Me too Powerage...I mean you look at his songwriting for Maiden and expect something at least similar, with a few experimental tracks thrown in because most people who are in bands for decades want to stretch out a bit and know they would never get away with putting those kind of songs on a Maiden album for example.

I haven't listened to British Lion yet, haven't had time and Old Wolf's summation makes me hesitate to bother, if Snoop plays it and thinks it's OK I might give it a once over.
