Is there hope? Fans walk out of Britney Spears show!

Britney Spears is reportedly upset that 100-200 fans walked out of her show in Perth, Australia because she was lip synching throughout much/most of the program. Poor Britney is evidently stunned by the revelation that some fans in Australia actually want her to sing during live concerts and not just dance around. "Ignorant hicks. This is so not L.A. Don't the people here know I can't sing - let alone sing and dance at the same time? Why do people live here anyway? I thought Australia was just for kangaroos." she was reported to have said before her manager cut the power to her microphone and hustled her away.

Maybe there's still hope for pop music. I doubt it though. After all, these fans did buy tickets in the first place....

Regardless of this there will always be a replacement Britney! Some of the world just wants the show part of the concert. Some of the world just wants their train wreck to feel better about themselves. It's all part of pop culture and lucky for us we can pick and choose what part of this culture we want to embrace. I'm indifferent. I'll laugh at this but if a track Britney does is put together well I'll indulge. I've yet to buy any of her stuff but nothing is off limits for me.

I went to a hip hop concert just because it was a concert and my friends were going. Sean Kingston a portly Jamaican pop rapper who's big dance routine was waving his flabby arms in the air had to lip sync as well. That was worse than Britney but I said screw it and just had some dumb fun! Life's too short not too! By the way, the main rapper Lupe Fiasco was the total opposite! He was legit and his show felt like a great rock show!
