Another one has come to mind. This song was from the early 90's. Life Is a Highway by a singer with the last name of Cochran.

That's Tom Cochran. He was the singer/guitarist for Red Rider of Lunitic Fringe fame. Speaking of one hit wonders (only that was in the '80's).
