Re: Nazareth

^^That's what makes music so much fun, two fans with diametrically opposing viewpoints on a new album by a band they both like.

I have only played Big Dogz once, and I thought it was good. However as I get older, and as the time I have left to enjoy listening to music diminishes, a new recording has to grab me after about 3 or 4 plays, otherwise I will simply reach into the library and pull out one of their old Classic recordings instead.

Re: Nazareth

Exactly LG. I feel the same about new releases. I am dissapointed with Big Dogz. After reading Nolo's and others thoughts I really thought they made a good one. No they did not. Still want to see them live if they come my way.

Re: Nazareth

I don't think Nazareth has toured here since the 80's Tony...you are far more likely to see them than we are over here.

I would bet the next "trophy fish" you catch they play more of their old stuff live than the new material.:D

Re: Nazareth

Listened to tons of Nazareth over the years. Very good band with a truly unique vocalist. Any Nazareth tune brings back good memories.

Re: Nazareth

i was lucky enough to grow up as a kid in the mid 70's with alot of their catalog in our house. So I have many fond memories of their music, and now I have recently re-aquired all of their 70's LP's on vinyl and I am stoked! My faves are "Hair Of The Dog", "Loud N Proud", "Rampant", and "Razamanaz". No coincidence that arguably their best 4 albums were all made in less than a 2 years time, a legendary place in time indeed.

Re: Nazareth

^^ I got into it 3 years ago. I played this album many times in a row and never get bored of it. Classic twin guitar piece.
