Your Favorite Rock/Power Ballad?

I do know Manilow didn't write the song, so I doubt it was about his dog.

From what I heard people kept asking "Who is Mandy?" so Barry got fed up and said it was about his dog so that they'd leave him alone.

Question: What separates a ballad from a "power" ballad? I wouldn't consider anything by Barry Manilow a power ballad.

There are loads of ballads that I like but very few are what I'd call "power" ballads.

Sorry for dozing off there...but why not contribute a power ballad and show us what they are. Or are you saying that you don't like power ballads?? So when did the normal ballad become excluded in this thread??

If you notice the thread title, troggy, is says rock/power ballads. This thread is open game for rock ballads as well as power ballads
