I believe DP or EMI released x3 separate picture sleeves or bags of material in the New, Live & Rare series I had them all decades ago I believe?.Deep Purple: Purple vinyl, purple label.
I had a great 12 inch picture sleeve with a picture of Blackmore & Stratocaster!!.

Deep Purple & Thin Lizzy are two of my all time favourite heavy rock bands. Phil Lynott was (and still is) a ROCK GOD!!.

Phil passed way too early..do you recall Thin Lizzys song about the Yorkshire Ripper..got slightly more giggles than the Pistols and Ronnie Biggs Belsun tune☆

Yeah you mean Killer On The Loose that's a great number it got a number of women's backs up when it hit the UK singles charts being supposedly about the 'Yorkshire Ripper' although Phil claimed he was 'warning all women to be careful when they were out on the streets after dark' but whatever the song is a 'killer track' (no pun intended) on the Chinatown album.
Poor old Phil 'checking out early' I remember it well. I always felt and still do that Phil was happy to go out that way a 'rock stars death' like Jimi had done and Phil was a BIG HENDRIX FAN HIMSELF!!.
