Here is VH's unreleased demo "Light In The Sky". Though the song title is similar to "Light Up The Sky", they are two completely different songs. I think the slower tempo on this track is a nice change of pace, and allows you to really hear all of Eddie's nuisances throughout without being stepped on by the bass and drums -- which is usually the case.
The unremarkable intro is about twice as long as it should be so starting the video at the .30 mark won't go on your permanent record.
I agree, it is rare for at least some parts of a VH demo not to have been used on a song years later. Even if it's only one small part of the song like at the 1:16 mark here on "Act Like It Hurts" (which sounds like the cowbell, drums and guitar part on "Drop Dead Legs" just before the long, outro solo)I haven't heard every VH demo, but isn't it rare for one not to have been redone or re-recorded for a later album? (unless this one was and I missed it)
