Not bad at all Sox, the sound quality is a little lacking but that is normal for Youtube a lot of the time.

Yeah best of a bad crop I`m afraid. The sound does them no justice at all. We had a local blues/rock band in the 80s used to finish their set with this and Skynyrd`s "Freebird" the folk were stomping for more every gig.

Re: Jo Jo Gunne

As mentioned in another thread, LG, Jo Jo Gunne was formed by Jay Ferguson and Mark Andes in the aftermath of their time in the band Spirit.

I can remember "Run run run" played on a jukebox many years ago and thinking it was a top track!...[ had to get some money..and play it again!]Done a bit of research and apparently the single reached no. 6 in the U.K. I must admit ive never seen any of their 3 albums they made.

I can highly recommend the self titled 1972 album. Killer tracks such as "Run, Run, Run.", "99 Days." and "Shake That Fat.".

Re: Jo Jo Gunne

Those early Gunne albums are available again, at least here in the States, through Collector's Choice music, if anyone is interested.

I ended up selling my copy of "Bite Down Hard" a long time ago. I tend to agree with AMG's critic who said Ferguson's work during this period (the albums that followed their debut album that Sox referenced) lacked the eccentricity that Ed Cassidy and Randy California brought to the table during their time together in Spirit, and was the worse for it.
