I have recently become interested in ZZ top following a chance meeting with Billy Gibbons on a ferry into the UK.
I appreciate that for songs like Gimme all your lovin' extra guitar parts are played through the PA. BFG can't play rhythm and lead at the same time.
Keyboards are added here sequencer there , fair enough.
But many people have commented on YouTube that he is lip syncing to Legs.
I can't see why they can't drop down the key of the song, or get Dusty to sing it.
Or just don't play it!
Does anyone know when they started with lip sync and how many other songs it applies to?
I will probably still get tickets to see them
