Subdivisions is one of Rush's better post-2112 tracks, so Rush. Weren't there several bands called Zebra or Zzebra? I think one of them was a jazz rock band.
For those who aren't familiar with Zebra they are a power trio out of Louisiana which had spent equal time learning their chops in New York and imho are a mixture of Zeppelin, Rush, and the Beatles along with a Frankie Valli'sh vocal style at times. They had semi hits in the early 80's such as this song, Tell me what you want, Wait Until the summer's gone, and Bears. After 3 albums they made a live album in 1990 which contained a couple of new songs which included this one which shows how well they can rock. It's a shame they didn't receive more credit than they did.
