I'm kinda partial to No Tellin' Lies. Bears is a great song and Wait Until The Summer's Gone absolutely rocks! I once heard them described as a Zeppelin/Rush hybrid which I can't disagree with.

For those who aren't familiar with Zebra they are a power trio out of Louisiana which had spent equal time learning their chops in New York and imho are a mixture of Zeppelin, Rush, and the Beatles along with a Frankie Valli'sh vocal style at times. They had semi hits in the early 80's such as Who's behind the door, Tell me what you want, Wait Until the summer's gone, and Bears. After 3 albums they made a live album in 1990 which contained a couple of new songs which included this one which shows how well they can rock. It's a shame they didn't receive more credit than they did.

The second of the two new ones introduced on this live album

Again a badly overlooked band imo.

I like the band...But I'm not sold on that singer; he grates on my nerves.

The band had great above average musicians "imo" and it's true that Randy Jacksond higher pitch vocals might be a little hard to get past for some which is kind of like Robert Plant or Geddy Lee but even higher and again also similar to Frankie Valli imo. He also used a lower tone vocal style like this.........

......and at times would switch between both styles in one song. They didn't fit the neat little box of what was being pushed in rock or metal during that era and I think that hurt them on getting some of the recognition they deserved.
