I suppose it's worth a shot, there'll be dozens missing of course though. But a rough and easily changeable list is:

1. The Fountain Of Salmacis - Genesis
2. Bat Out Of Hell - Meatloaf
3. Come Sail Away - Styx
4. Home By The Sea/2nd Home By The Sea - Genesis (I count it as one song)
5. Colours - Phil Collins
6. Achilles Last Stand - Led Zeppelin
7. Brothers In Arms - Dire Straits
8. Riders On The Storm - The Doors
9. When The War Is Over - Cold Chisel
10. Suspicious Minds - Elvis
11. Pure And Easy - The Who
12. When The Music's Over - The Doors
13. SWLABR - Cream
14. Panama - The Cat Empire
15. Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
16. Rudy - Supertramp
17. Dust In The Wind - Kansas
18. A Man I'll Never Be - Boston
19. Prisoner Of Love - Foreigner
20. Heartbreaker - GFR

I like to see fans breaking out of the box and going beyond any genres in which they mught have straightjacketed themselves. Therefore, seeing "Suspicious Minds" in the list Salmacis posted made me smile.

Suspicious Minds is there for good memories. I remember on my trip to England 4 months ago, being rather tipsy at a Blackpool hotel show, and the premier comedian sung it at the end. So there I was, (with half my family watching) singing and dancing along to it, knowing all the words and having the time of my life. I've since gained a reputation as an Elvis Impersonator :heheh:

And I just realised I completely missed Pink Floyd! Echoes gets an honourable mention.

I am envious of anyone that can make a clear and defined list of their top 10 or top 20 songs of all time. My tastes are the same, but my favorites jump around depending on mood. I have a hard time finding a top 5 of many of the artists that I really like. To combine all songs by all artists and have a definitite list?

 grats to all of you that can do it
